Should my dog eat from a raised bowl?

It depends on the dog rather than on fashion. Tall, long-backed and older dogs are usually more comfortable with the rim at roughly the height of the bottom of the chest, so they are not stooping through a whole meal, while small dogs and cats do perfectly well at floor level. An adjustable raised bowl lets you set the height as a puppy grows and lower it again if it turns out not to suit.
